This fall, Howard will be directing a group of actors, musicians, and theatre artists on a project called "DYNAMO: WE HAVE ELECTROCUTED YOUR GOD," a laboratory investigation of one of Eugene O'Neill's most experimental and least understood plays, under the auspices of The Mercury Store in Brooklyn, NY.

Howard is directing the debut production of Joan Mathieu’s DIET COKE FOR THE DEAD, part of Paradise Factory Theater’s festival of one-act plays in New York City. The show stars Monique Vukovic and Ken Forman, with an opening night set for May 29. Details and tickets are here.
“The G-d of In-Between,” a new musical written by Christopher Wall and featuring an all-new score by Howard Fishman will be featured at this summer’s Dartmouth Vox Theater Festival, in a new workshop presentation directed by Marina McClure and featuring Emma Orme, Meg MacCary, and Brandon Adams.
"we are destroyed," Howard's music theater piece inspired by the Donner Party tragedy of 1846, has been selected for a new showing at NEW YORK THEATER WORKSHOP's "Monday@3" series in April.
Though the new workshop showing is not open to the public, it represents a new step forward for the project, which has been seen in previous iterations (and in various stages of development) as a concert, an oratorio, and a play with music.

The World Premiere of Howard's play "A Star Has Burnt My Eye" opened a sold-out run at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Wednesday, November 9, as a feature presentation of the 2016 Next Wave Festival.
The production was staged by Paul Lazar and featured the performers Howard Fishman, Charlotte Mundy, Jean Rohe, and Nicholas Webber.
