Check out two cool shorts one youtube.com; the first was created for network TV about Howard and his LINCOLN CENTER debut. The second is a compilation of footage from last month's DUMBOLIO show and features the unrecorded HF original "Show Me The Way" as the soundtrack.

On the Scene in NYC

Howard is a ubiquitous presence on the NYC music scene this month, with shows that feature special projects like MONKEY FARM, THE BITING FISH BRASS BAND, and a rare outing of traditional country and honky tonk music with old friends at BANJO JIM'S (formerly 9C).

Free MP3 "The Nearness of You"

This month's free MP3 comes from the October 9, 2007 show at JOE'S PUB in NEW YORK CITY, and features a duet with trombonist Roland Barber on the Hoagy Carmichael classic. Just click the link in the nav below that is tagged "DOWNLOAD".

Mac and Safari users can save the file right from their browsers by choosing "File/Save As" after it has opened in a new quicktime window. Firefox users will be prompted to load the file into their primary audio program. PC Explorer users should be able to save the file through their media player... if problematic try downloading and using iTunes for PC.

Back in the Hood

Howard returns to the scene of the crime in October, performing intimate, local shows in Brooklyn with various projects. Check the schedule page for details!

Discography Page Sorely Missed

The final page will be a definitive resource of all things howard with links to video, youTube, lyrics, reviews, mp3 samples and anything else we can think of that might relate to any one or all of Howard's individual songs.
