Howard and the Biting Fish Brass Band headlined the Augustibluus Festival in Haapsalu, Estonia in early August, 2013, making a huge splash in the band's European debut tour.

MANNA-HATA opens tonight!
Peculiar Works Project's MANNA-HATA, featuring ten all-new original Howard Fishman songs, opens June 7 (tonight!) and runs until June 23rd.
The multimedia theater experience is being staged in spaces throughout the gigantic James A. Farley Post Office (across from Penn Station), a mostly vacant building pegged as the future home of the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Station.
MANNA-HATA was written by playwright Barry Rowell and is directed by Kathleen Amshoff, and features original movement, choreography, film and singing by a large ensemble of actors, singers and dancers.
Opening night is sold out, but tickets still remain for the remainder of the run. Get them here.

"A STAR HAS BURNT MY EYE:" Ten Months Later
"A STAR HAS BURNT MY EYE: THE STRANGE CASE OF CONNIE CONVERSE" will have its next showing on May 15, 2013 at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, in an expanded version featuring Howard, Russell Farhang, Rob Adkins, Anastasia Barzee, Charlotte Mundy, Susan Oetgen and Jean Rohe.
This will be the project's fourth public showing, following its debut last July (also at Joe's Pub), a November rewrite at the Abrons Arts Center, and February's sold-out performance at the Rattlestick Theater.
