Live from New York!

Two big shows this month:

July 22 at JOE’S PUB at the Public Theater, Howard brings in a few of New York’s finest to sit in with the band and sing his songs, plus a preview of some brand new material from Howard and the band.

July 27 at DIZZY’S CLUB COCA COLA at JAZZ @ LINCOLN CENTER featuring the Biting Fish Brass Band! The Biting Fish show at Le Poisson Rouge last month was such a big success that Howard and the boys have been invited to reprise it at Lincoln Center. Come on down!!

Recording Update

65 songs are in the can, and the mix has begun. Look out for an HF explosion this fall with the release of four (count ‘em, four!) new CDs!

Brass Band Preview

On June 5th in New York City, Howard will give a special sneak-preview of the upcoming Brass Band record at a special show at the former Village Gate, LE POISSON ROUGE in Greenwich Village. Come on down!

Recording Update

Work continues apace on the three new CDs, and a late Fall release date is being eyed, followed by a substantial list of new tour dates (including Howard's first-ever visit to the Bay Area on the West coast). Over 40 new Howard Fishman songs have been recorded with various ensembles, including songs that have been in the live repertoire for some time (the "Romania" songs) alongside many that have yet to be performed anywhere. All three CDs will be released simultaneously, with a special 3-disc collector's limited edition pressing available as well. Stay tuned!
