The new band made its West Coast Debut last month in Los Angeles and it was a big success. Our first night at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood was made all the more special by surprise guest appearances by erstwhile HFQ trumpeter Erik Jekabson (in town for a taping of a TV show with John Mayer) and old friend Joyce Anderson, fiddle player extraordinaire, who was herself on tour but managed to stop in and see us.
